The Dodge Challenger Goes High-Tech

The Dodge brand recently announced the addition of some exciting new offerings, part of their constant effort to bring excellent value to American consumers. The car company is presenting six new or completely redesigned vehicles, all equipped with popular features. The new vehicles deliver a winning combination of great looks, world-class performance and good mileage.

According to Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Dodge Brand-Chrysler Group LLC,the new vehicles all deliver great gas mileage and “style that sets us apart from everyone else.” He points out that Dodge is simply continuing its history of providing customers with “excellent quality, innovation and value.”

One of the new offerings, the 2012 Dodge Challenger, is an exciting vehicle with an efficient and powerful engine and a performance suspension that can be changed to meet different needs. When used in auto mode, the car adjusts to road conditions and driver prompts. If you’re feeling adventurous, though, the sports mode will give you sharper steering and the ability to power through movements you might see on a racetrack. And speaking of power, the Challenger has plenty. The car can go from 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180 mpg.

The 2012 Dodge Challenger’s power is supplied by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with 305 horsepower– an increase in horsepower of 55 more than the previous engine. This makes it the most powerful Dodge Challenger–ever. It’s the most technologically advanced Challenger, too, with cutting-edge performance enhancing features.

The 2012 Dodge Challenger provides excellent braking performance to complement the increased power. The vehicle’s handling is remarkable, too; dealers report customer enthusiasm over the excellence of the handling and the brakes.

The 2012 Dodge Challenger comes with standard safety features like side-curtain airbags and an electronic stability control that keeps all four wheels on the road—even at high speeds. And the vehicle is spacious, with room for three adults in the rear seat and a generously-proportioned trunk.

The Dodge Challenger, a muscle-car with a lighter feel and enhanced performance, is getting rave reviews from happy new owners.
