The new F125 car, created by Mercedes-Benz, is expected to be extremely modern and advanced looking, a 2020 version of the big Mercedes sedan.
The auto company seems to have skipped ahead with this version and moved very quickly along the timeline. The F125 will be powered by a novel type of unusual hybrid power source. The power needed to run the new vehicle will come from different outlets, and when one runs out, the other will snap into action, ensuring that the car will not run out of power.
The way the power is generated, works with hydrogen that is stored inside of a tank in the vehicles body. This technology is not available today, but Mercedes-Benz believes that by the time it releases this new vehicle, hopefully in 2025, the advancement in technologies will make it possible.
With both the hydrogen fuel cell and an additional plug-in battery, the new vehicle is expected to be able to drive over 621 miles. The output will be 308 horsepower and the most and will have 228 of continuous output.
The construction of the vehicle is meant to remain extremely lightweight which will allow the automobile to go from 0 to 60 in just under 5 seconds, from there it can continue to speed up to 137 mile an hour in hardly any time at all.
The modern automobiles will have massive gullwing doors which, on opening, will give special access to the rear seats as well as the front seats. This is the first time a vehicle has had these types of doors, which open both back and front at the same time, however, many people feel that a car with just two doors instead of four, puts it into a different class than the four door vehicles.
Of course, as one might expect to find in a futuristic Mercedes from the year 2025, the automobile will have all kinds of gadgets and new technology that look like they have come straight out of a science fiction film.
Some of the features seem quite exciting, especially as they are still novel for cars these days. A couple of the exciting new features include a natural and customized system for voice recognition which will be connected with a type of proactive controlling device. The controlling command device will allow the driver to stay connected to cloud services, internet and social networking websites even while driving.
The displays are also futuristic and come in high definition and 3D. They can be controlled by means of using specific gestures and finger tracking. The cars features also include a special driver assistance system, which can communicate to other vehicles about dangers or hazards which the driver may not yet have noticed, like a speeding car coming around a sharp bend.
Of course no one can know exactly what cars will be like in 2015, and there is one problem with all these amazing new futuristic features. The problem is that they have not been developed yet, they are still very much in the planning and brainstorming fazes. Some of the features may never have a chance to grace you with their presence, but it is always nice to dream about what could be.
