Lindsay Lohan gets tattoo of lyrics from Billy Joel's 'I Go to Extremes' on ribcage

Lindsay Lohan is showing some Long Island love - and an affinity for schmaltz - with her latest tattoo.

The "Mean Girls" star now has two lines of lyrics from Nassau County crooner Billy Joel inked on her ribcage.

"Clear as a crystal sharp as a knife, I feel like I'm in the prime of my life," reads the tattoo taken from Joel's 1989 song "I Go to Extremes."

"We're all big Billy Joel fans from living in New York. His lyrics have always been very profound," mom Dina Lohan told the Daily News.

"It means Lindsay is back on her game -- doing really well," the mom continued.

She said her famous daughter is busy whittling down her court-ordered community service, prepping to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Manhattan next week, and gearing up for two movie roles before her part in the upcoming mobster biopic "Gotti."

"One is being filmed in Los Angeles, and the other possibly in Alaska, but I'm not supposed to talk about them yet," Dina Lohan said.

She said Lindsay and her 17-year-old daughter Ali Lohan, who recently signed a modeling contract, plan to join her for the Cynthia Rowley and Diane Von Furstenberg shows.
